The (AP) No. 2 Aledo Bearcats (2-0) dominated Mexico City's Aguilas Blancas IPN Friday with a 50-8 victory at Bearcat Stadium.

Aledo had over 400 of yards of offense in the first half against Aguilas Blancas and held the opponent to under 30 yards by halftime.

Aguilas Blancas didn't get a first down until the second half Friday night.

Bearcats quarterback Jake Bishop had an efficient night and went 11-for-14 with 235 yards and three touchdowns.

Jake Norwood, the back up quarterback, led Aledo in rushing and had 75 yards on nine carries and scored a touchdown.

Norwood came into the game in the second quarter with a 30-0 lead.

Jordan Montez ran for 72 yards for Aledo on just three carries and had a touchdown, also.

Three Bearcats receivers came down with touchdowns Friday.

Money Parks led the way with four catches for 69 yards and a touchdown.

Tre Owens had two receptions for 51 yards and a touchdown, and Hayden Hyles had a touchdown, as well.

Aledo's first touchdown was a 10-yard Bishop pass to Parks in the first quarter.

The Bearcats also scored in the opening quarter on a seven-yard Owens touchdown run and a 43-yard Bishop to Hyles reception.

Aledo picked up a safety in the second quarter and then scored on a 41-yard Bishop pass to Owens.

Before the half, Norwood added another touchdown on a one-yard run.

The second half of Friday's action was quieter.

Montez struck first for Aledo in the third quarter on a three-yard touchdown run. The extra-point was no good and Aledo led 43-0.

Jose Cu scored Aguilas Blancas only touchdown of the night on a 6-yard scamper.

The two-point conversion gave Aguilas Blancas eight on the scoreboard.

Aledo scored it's final touchdown on a Stephan Wright four-yard run.

With the extra-point, Aledo had it's final lead of 50-8.

The Bearcats out-gained Aguilas Blancas 22-6 in first downs and 590-147 in total offensive yardage.

Aledo ran for 355 yards and threw for 235.

Aguilas Blancas won the turnover war, the Bearcats gave up the ball twice on two fumbles.

Aledo also led in penalties with six for 45 yards.

The Bearcats get another test on Friday against Mansfield Legacy.
