The Aledo Bearcats scored 42 first half points en route to a 49-7 rout over the Arlington Seguin Cougars Friday at home.

Aledo greatly outproduced Seguin on offense, churning out 439 yards, compared to the latter's 180.

The Bearcats' backfield put up another dominant performance in the win, racking up 255 yards and seven touchdowns on the ground.

Tailback Ryan Anderson led the way with 138 yards and a TD on 19 carries for Aledo, while teammate and fellow running back Jase McClellan added 107 yards and six scores on 12 attempts.

The Bearcats' defense has also played incredibly well, holding the Cougars to nine first downs and 49 total rushing yards.
