Aledo lost to Wichita Falls Old High 4-15 on Tuesday, September 14 in Wichita Falls. This was a very competitive tournament against a strong Coyotes team. Aledo only posted wins from Boys Doubles Line 2 Ian Leslie/Scott Mason (1-6)(6-3)10-7 , Boy’s Singles Hogan Posey 8-3 and in Girl’s Singles Payton Bierle 8-3 and Paige Federman 8-6.
Final scores do not show all the games that come down to deuce or sets that come down to tiebreakers. The RacquetCats fought hard and had five super tiebreaker points that came up short for wins, they are 0-2 in District. Aledo will travel to play Birdville on Friday, September 17 in a practice tournament before they face Brewer at home on September 21 at 4:00pm.
