It was an amazing day today for the Aledo Ladycats!! The Ladycats finished in 4th place overall, qualifying for the State Cross Country Championships in Round Rock! The Ladycats finished with 3 girls in the top 13 overall, and were paced by Freshman Molly Garrison. Garrison finished in 2nd place overall, less than a second behind the Regional Champion.

On the boys side, the Bearcats just missed qualifying for State as a team by 4 points (only 12 points out of 2nd place!), finishing 5th overall. The boys were paced by Jack Fink, who’s 13th place finish is good enough to qualify him for the State CC Meet individually.

The next meet for the Girls Team and Jack Fink will be the State Cross Country Meet in Round Rock, November 5th. The 5A girls race will be at 10am, and the 5A boys race at 10:40am.
