It was a tremendous day for Aledo Cross Country at the UIL Region 1 – 5AAAAA Championships in Lubbock. For the first time, both the girls and boys teams earned spots on the award podium! The Ladycats are once again Regional Champions, while the boys finished in third place overall, earning bronze medals. The Ladycats were paced by Molly Garrison, who finished second overall. The boys were led by Tyler Connelly and Jack Fink, who finished 5th and 6th respectively. Full results are below.
Both teams will now prepare for the State Cross Country Championships in Round Rock on November 2nd. The girls will compete at 10:45am, followed by the boys at 11:25am. The meet will take place at Old Settlers Park.
